The Inextricable Link Between Modern Free Speech Law and the Civil Rights Movement No excuse is needed to celebrate the civil rights icon Rev. Fred Shuttleworth. But this weekend is an especially appropriate time to recognize his contributions to First Amendment jurisprudence, and the inextricable link between modern free speech law and the civil rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s. This link remains pertinent: the Internet is as important a venue for protest and dissent as streets and newspapers were then, especially in light of recent attacks on this legal legacy. Why this weekend? It marks the anniversaries of the Supreme Court handing down three victories for Shuttlesworth, all three of which shed light on the civil rights-free speech link, and two of which are landmark First Amendment cases of the 20th Century. As a provider, we also require speed to market, so customized racks would take too much time or cost too much to keep in stock. Therefore, we worked with Schneider Electric to help overcome this dilemma and deliver advanced redundancy. Switch’s large enterprise customers call for high-density spaces, so we need racks tailored for such capacity — racks that can be implemented quickly. Motor Protection: Three Common Mistakes and How to Avoid Them

When talking about motor protection they are not adequately sized or configured, two possible scenarios can unfold. There are a few cases where they trip continuously and will consume valuable time from your maintenance staff, and in some cases they may not even trip in response to slight Under Voltage or overload, conditions that are not always evident and which reduce the service life of motors. To avoid some of the common mistakes while configuring motor protections, the following are the steps one should take in mind. 1) Undervoltage Protections Set Too High – Motors that are operating below their rated voltage might suffer from overheating and have a shorter life cycle. The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), they do not recommend operating motors below 90% of their rated voltage for extended periods.
